Tempe is one of my favorite source of protein..beside it is our traditional food in Indonesia. Frying tempe for us is very easy, but not for people who does not familiar with.
Many times I went to Asian supermarket in my city, a lots of non Indonesian people asked how to process this tempe.
Here I will share how to fry tempe my version. This method is super easy and the result you will have crispy fried tempe.
You wil need frying pan for this.
The ingredients :
Tempe ( as much as you like )
Salt
Coriander powder
Garlic powder
Oil for frying
Steps :
1. Slice tempe with approximately 0.5 cm thickness.
2. Cut the middle of tempe, just little bit... ( optional ), I love to do this because it make the tempe more and more crispy and also the spices come through in to the tempe.
3. springle with all spices the both side.
4. prepare the pan with oil
5. and fry tempe until the both side golden brown.
6. done.
Enjoy your tempe goreng....
